First...

...came its three soon-to-be co-founders each arriving two hours late to U of L's 2016 Freshman Orientation. After coincidentally crossing paths in the parking lot while walking to campus, the unexpected relationship began to form.

Then...

...came the connecting interests. Due to that afternoon's circumstances, two of the three co-founders were placed in the same dorm that evening, which created the perfect environment for discussion. Come nighttime, the temporary roommates talked for hours into the night about any and every topic that arose, eventually reaching the common agenda of social enterprise.

Finally...

...the remaining co-founder reconnected that next morning with the others, and all three agreed to reconvene in one week. Following a few more meetings, the idea of founding a non-profit not only satisfied their shared interest, but propelled them into a year and beyond filled with all that makes up creating something out of nothing.
